WHO
ARE WE ?
Delipop is the first fully automated e-grocery pickup Universal Network. It is fully mutualized – serving several retailer brands.
It was created to meet the growing demand for online shopping and to give customers the best possible experience, and our planet some breath.
Delipop offers its retail partners a service solution based on the consolidation of E-commerce food order flows in warehouses located outside the city, and on the delivery of collection points in urban areas, commonly called “Pick-up points”.
Delipops are equipped with a fully automated order delivery system that allows our partners’ customers to come and collect their food shopping at times they choose, 7 days a week and 24 hours a day.
Delipop aims to empower consumers by making food shopping easier in everyday life based on several values:
Always available
Most of our pick-up locations are open early in the morning until late at night (some 24 hours a day) from Monday to Sunday. Users can choose the time slot that works best for them.
Simplified pickup
Consumers can easily and effortlessly pick up their groceries through an intuitive process. We added a bit of magic to it using ambient sounds, lights, colors, and even smells – to guide the consumers and to create a pleasant pause in their life.
Always fresh
Our machines are designed to keep food fresh or frozen – as fresh as if it were purchased in traditional stores.
Environmentally friendly
(described below) – the great feeling of saving the planet.
More free time
Thanks to our solution that simplifies food shopping, consumers can have more time to do what they like and enjoy their city more.
High range of products
Customers have access to 15-20.000 SKU’s from diversified retailers. All of that at a walking or biking distance.

Moreover, thanks to the lower costs of delivery – big actors from the retail market can offer citizens groceries at the lowest prices, which is especially important for many poorer inhabitants of the city centers.
OUR INNOVATION
Food e-commerce is booming but current operational models cannot provide sustainable solutions to ensure profitability and capacity for retailers.
We also need to satisfy the needs of customers, who are looking for practical, fast solutions that fit into their lives.
And we need to respond to the evolution of cities and search for models decreasing traffic and helping the environment.
Delipop addresses all these challenges by relying on 5 pillars:
1. The automation of collection points allows us to:
– significantly reduce the costs of delivery
– and customer handover.
2. The consolidation of orders and avoiding the last meters of delivery:
– makes the delivery less costly
– and reduces the number of cars used.
3. The accessibility:
– As we create a Universal Network – with several retailer partners – we increase accessibility for consumers. The high density of our network will boost the availability of handover slots.
– And our ambition is to deploy 1000 Delipops by 2025 – with the capacity of 200.000 orders daily.
4. The variable cost:
– The use of our network is based mostly on variable costs for retailers.
5. The high quality of unique customer experience
Technology is important
Delipop uses:
– a robotic solution developed by Retail Robotics according to our recommendations with a simplified customer interface
– and a specialized information system that allows real-time monitoring of all available slots/spaces throughout the Delipop network
The internal robotization system with a very high speed makes it possible to provide a basket in 15 seconds and a typical order in 1 minute and 30 seconds while serving 3 customers simultaneously.
The capacity of the first machines is between 94 and 150 logistic bins. The next to follow will have even 200-250 logistic bins – letting us serve more customers and bigger orders.
Our points of proximity remain totally secure and supervised by a digicode access, cameras and a call center available at any time via the customer interface or by phone.
Ecology is vital
Delipop is an incredible solution for the planet.
Thanks to the hub effect generated by our network – we use 10x fewer cars than traditional delivery to fulfill the same number of orders.
That means much lower road traffic, much less CO2 emissions, and cleaner air in the city.
We’re also encouraging consumers to pick up their orders without using a car.
We see Delipop as an infrastructure of the future:
– to create Green Zones in the cities
– and facilitate the #15MinuteCity concept.

Delipop launched the report “Sustainability in the last mile delivery of groceries on the example of Grand Paris”, that presents insights for the green transformation of French cities.

Home deliveries and visiting faraway supermarkets are responsible for a lot of traffic. With Delipop we give our cities a break, supporting a green revolution. Our pick-up chain:
- reduces the greenhouse gas emissions per order by 77% compared to the home delivery service and 92% compared to the hypermarket purchases,
- reduces the traveled kilometers per order by 92,5% compared to the home delivery service and 98,5% compared to the hypermarket purchases,
- saves more C02 emission than it is absorbed by all 500.000 trees in Paris,
- gives you a possibility to pick up your shopping at a walking or biking distance,
- supports cities in creating a green zone for their inhabitants.
